Neidi Calvillo joins the Staff of the Cloverdale Citrus Fair

The Cloverdale Citrus Fair is pleased to announce that Neidi Calvillo will be joining the staff of the Citrus Fair on January 3, 2023 as its Business Assistant II. A graduate of Cloverdale High School, Neidi is currently studying sociology at Sonoma State University. She brings a wealth of experience from serving as the Special Projects and Events Manager for La Familia Sana. Tom Keaney, the Fair’s CEO said:

“I am so excited to get to work with Neidi, her enthusiasm is infectious and she brings a wonderful zest for life. To have our last Queen represent the Fair once again, this time as a valued member of our management team, not just a figurehead. She will be an inspiration to so many, and a welcoming face during celebrations and emergencies.”

Neidi is no stranger to the Citrus Fair. She was selected as the 2020 Citrus Fair Queen, and the last to hold the title, serving for two years as the COVID pandemic extended her reign and service to the fair through masked appearances and a drive thru fair. Ms. Calvillo said:

“I hope to support the fairgrounds in creating and maintaining a safe space for all the communities that make up Cloverdale. Additionally, I look forward to greeting everyone and seeing all the smiles and joy the fairgrounds provide to Cloverdale. I am excited to continue serving the community I was raised in!”

Neidi will be focusing on making special event rentals more welcoming, less daunting and more accessible as well as learning to manage day-to-day operations of the fairgrounds.

The 2023 Cloverdale Citrus Fair will take place February 17-20, 2023. Tickets and carnival passes are on sale now.
